Customer Reviews
I had two picadillo gorditas. They were good, but there was so much oil remaining in them that I burned my lip even after the first bite. The salsa verse smelled a bit off so I couldn't have it with my food, but at least the salsa roja was edible. Recommended? Only if you're in the area, yes. If not, then no. You're better off visiting a hole-in-the-wall joint. It's $5 per gordita, which you can find anywhere else for cheaper and better.
I have had a lot of street tacos in my life and I must say, this is the absolute best I’ve ever had. I also had Birria tacos which were also so delicious. I had the tripe and el pastor meat on my tacos. It’s inside of a convenience store and lets just say, the people that frequent it aren’t class A citizens. Well worth the visit. I was working close by and that’s why I went there but I would gladly leave from my house 20 mins away to get these versus the street taco shops that are way closer.
The birria tacos were really good as everyone else has said. Everything tastes and feels like it could be something homemade. 5 Birria tacos with cheese and consome came out to $13.63. Very filling portion size also. Would definitely recommend this spot!
This was our first time trying this place. I was a little confused when pulling up because it is located inside a small food mart. But the birria tacos are amazing! Will definitely go back.
Growing up in Southern California then moving to the east coast I have missed good Mexican food. This place brought me back home. The Barbacoa burrito was possibly the best I have ever had. The hot sauce was flavorful and full of heat. They also brought out a plate of chips, covered in melted queso and beans, free of charge for us to snack on while waiting. If I am ever in Dallas area again I will come back here for sure.
