Tacos la Gringa

We recently had La Gringa Tacos cater our daughter’s 16th birthday and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. The food, the aguas frescas and the service were above our expectations. We appreciate the service provided and if we return for another event to NJ we’ll definitely be using your catering services again. Thank you!

I was referred to this place by a family member(grandson), which went with his dad being a Newark police officer knows a lot of good spots, place looked extremely small but has another comfortable level downstairs much bigger and the place very well decorated with beautifulart works. The staff was extremely polite and very nice,explained the dishes and different ways to combine them or high recommendations,we wanted tacos , asked for birria tacos 🌮 😋, fish and shrimp 🍤 😋 tacos , chorizo tacos, tongue tacos, and finally dirty nachos 😋. Everything was delicious and we dip everything in the consome sauce. Definitely a must-visit for a nice snack or a perfect Mexican lunch.

I saw that the Steak tacos at Tacos La Gringa were voted in the top tacos in NJ and I had to swing by. We dropped in on Sunday around 6 p.m. and had a great experience. The upstairs has four chairs at a bar, and downstairs, there are a number of tables to eat at. The service was professional, warm, and nice. The atmosphere downstairs feels like eating in someone's basement, but the food was good enough to make up for it. We ordered the Steak tacos, Al pastor tacos, a chicken quesadilla, and churros. All the food was flavorful, tasty, and filling. The only thing missing was a salsa to go along with the tacos. The price point was great, too. Definitely a place we'll add to our list when hungry for a good taco.

So this was so good me and my girl stopped fighting lol. She got the short rib taco and it's one of the best things we had. The amount of food we got was great for the price. I had the steak burrito and that was great too. Highly recommend the mango soda too.

Wow where to start? The fresh chilli in the tacos, mixed with the fresh sauces took both my shrimp and chicken tacos to another level! Heat, freshness, and flavor, I hope to be back 😍😍😍
