TACOS

I went in for menudo, which was served in a Styrofoam container that was fine, but I would’ve appreciated a smaller bowl or something similar since I knew I wouldn’t finish it all and wanted to take the rest home. When I asked, they mentioned they didn’t have anything else available, so that was my only option. The menudo was okay, but for the price, I expected a bit more. They did serve tortillas and all the sides. The seating area is small, and all tables were dirty no one came by to clean even after multiple groups sat in the same spot. Also, the restroom wasn’t working during my visit. Service was fast and efficient.

Let me tell you something that’ll change your taco game forever. The real MVP of tacos in Dallas isn’t in a trendy taquería or some flashy food truck. It’s hidden in plain sight, right here in Mesquite, TX, inside a gas station. And if you know anything about gas station food in the right neighborhoods, then you know that’s where the real magic happens. My boy Miguel is one of the cooks here, and he told me to stop by and try the tacos. I did, and my life’s been different ever since. One bite, and I was instantly transported back to my days in Yuma, Arizona off 8th Street, where the tacos were made with love, soul, and flavor that hits you right in the nostalgia. The food here is amazing I’ve been eating tacos from her for about 7-8 years now and they NEVER disappoint! I’d say call and order ahead you get your food quicker. I wish they had an actual restaurant but I can deal with it being in a gas station.

We order them over the phone and nothing had flavor the beans nor the rice the fajitas were shredded, I legit felt like I was eating plastic even the onions asadas had no flavor never again!!!!!
