Taiyaki Sweets

What an awesome place for a sweet treat! My son goes here weekly, as he is the true boba tea lover in the family and they have amazing flavor options. The true reason to go here though is definitely the taiyaki. It is delicious - not super sweet, and again, perfect flavor options. They also have ice cream and sorbet...it is an all around great edition to the Fry Street eats.

Staff is super friendly! I wanted my drink more hot and they agreed to remake it without hesitation. My boyfriend and I also ordered 5 taiyakis and they prepared them very fast. Atmosphere is super chill and inviting as well!

Tried their signature Dirty Boba, and I have to say—it was an absolute delight! The rich, creamy flavor was perfectly balanced, and every sip was a treat. But what truly made my day was the adorable little note that came with it—such a thoughtful touch! It’s those small details that turn a simple drink into a heartwarming experience. Loved every moment, from the first sip to the last. Definitely coming back for more!💕

The Best Spot For BOBA in DENTON!!! They are always consistent in their drinks and food. It is always good! I've gone about 10 times now and will keep going or ordering it on Uber eats.

I stopped by Taiyaki Sweets on Hickory Street recently. I ordered three taiyaki (Oreo, custard, Nutella fillings), plus a strawberry mango milk tea. The milk tea was enjoyable—creamy, refreshing, well-balanced. However, the taiyaki themselves missed the mark. Some parts tasted undercooked—doughy instead of crispy—and overall they lacked the warm, flaky texture I expected. The cafe itself is quirky and inviting, with colorful decor, touchscreen ordering, and friendly staff. Atmosphere and drinks are great, but the main snacks didn’t quite deliver.
