Taj Modern Indian Cuisine

I ordered delivery and it came pretty quick! Honestly, the food is just below average! The salmon portion is for a small child only! The guy stated that is all the salmon they give which is insane for the price I spent! They will give you buckets of rice just like most Indian spots which they feel compensates for less protein. This place will not get my business again! I should have just cooked my own food! I keep telling people the best Indian Food is in Providence Rhode Island at The India Restaurant! Top tier customer service, setting, vibes, cleanliness, professionalism, flavor, drinks, options, portions are fair, and consistency.

I recently decided to try Taj Modern Indian Cuisine in Weymouth, Massachusetts, after searching for a unique spot. Unfortunately, my visit fell short of expectations. I placed an online order at 4:30 PM, requesting a 6:30 PM pickup. When I arrived at the restaurant at the scheduled time, I was informed by the hostess that my food wasn’t ready. I ended up waiting until 7 PM before my order was finally handed to me. The hostess, while somewhat rude, was clearly overwhelmed—she seemed to be doing everything: hosting, waiting tables, running the register, bussing, answering phones, and taking orders. There were five other staff members who occasionally appeared outside the kitchen but didn’t seem to offer much help. To make matters worse, we could hear someone yelling from the kitchen, adding

My 3rd time here and the experience gets better with each meal. Every item is scrumptious and the portions are generous...so more to enjoy! Have tried a vegetarian dish with cauliflower, the Special Biryani with rice, shrimp,fish,lamb,beef, herbs and spices, Lamb Tikki Masala, Naan and most recently Dal Soup and Goat Tikki Masala. I am so happy to have discovered how good the food is here after years living nearby and not frequenting until my neighbor informed me about the high quality fresh and tasty food. The interior is super clean and the servers are very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend. I am adding Taj at 312 Bridge St. Weymouth to my list of favorite places to dine in or take-out!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. It had music, but it wasn't too loud. The food was very good. Lots of flavor. Would recommend coming here for good Indian food. We will definitely be returning.

- Lamb Samosa 5/5, loved the tamarind, mint, and onion sauces that came with it - Garlic Naan was crispy and warm - Butter Chicken was yummy and spicy (medium spice was perfect) - Mango Lassi was too sweet for my personal liking but still very good - Server was timely and professional
