I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a long time and it used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, my recent visit on November 9,2025 was a big letdown. The food tasted nothing like it used to — it was bland and lacked the fresh flavor I always enjoyed before. I ordered a Mexican burger and the meat tasted rotten . I took a bite then couldn’t stand the smell and taste I ask my friend to take a bite and she agreed that it had a bad after taste . Her torta de chorizo con egg also had a weird after taste . So she only took one bite too . I let the waitress know about the hamburger and she apologized and ask if I wanted to order something else so I ordered a chorizo con egg n beans burrito . Bacon, egg, cheese, beans, and avocado on flour tortilla. Red and green sauces were spicy but delicious. Will return to try other items.

I recently made a TikTok video about Taqueria Super at 2902 Thomas Ave #500 in Pasadena, Texas, because I found out they were struggling and might have to close. I didn’t go there for views or attention — I went because small businesses like this are the heart of our community. Places like this are built by families who wake up early, work long hours, and put everything they have into serving their customers. When one of them disappears, the neighborhood loses a piece of its story. So I decided to use my platform to help. Just had this food for take out and i must say i definitely am impressed. The food was delicious. I definitely see myself coming back here . The number 10 grilled chicken plate was delicious. The fajita gorditas were just as tasty.

Third trip here, and each time has been GREAT! Food is fresh and scrumptious, prices are affordable and reasonable. Came for the breakfast specials this morning (sorry, we got right to enjoying the plates..I forgot to take pics....😬) Anyhow, both kids got the $4 pancake plate. They are huge, and again, scrumptious. Plenty of pancake for the little monsters. I had a fajita gordita. Hubby said "You sure you're gonna have enough with one??" And yes, it was a large flavorful gordita, more than enough. Tacos are $2 each before 11 am. Family of 4 eating for under $30.. You are sleeping on the best little taqueria in Pasadena! Takeria Super is definitely super! 👌
