Tamalex Restaurant

This is a very cute place! It was about 7 tables that’s seats from 2 to 6 customers. The waitress Josefina was very pleasant, helpful, and optimistic. Josefina always had a smile on her face despite being the only one on the floor serving and taking orders over the phone. The food was delicious and decent portions. Parking is always difficult to find in the city.

This place is amazing. I love coming here. The vibes are immaculate. The pupusas are to die for. My cousin said it was the best mole chicken enchiladas he had ever had! The serving of platanos was enormous! We were all so full and still trying to eat more 😂 I swear I could drink gallons of the horchata!! I gotta come eat here more often!!

I have been coming here for years. In my opinion, the best Mexican food in Philly right now. The location on Lombard near Abbott Square is good too. Unpretentious. Authentic. Great value. This is my spot for Mexican food. Green tamales on thr weekends are awesome (come early before they're gone).

This place is fire we went twice in one week!!! They even have the 32oz size Jarittos in tamarind!!! Everything on the menu is remarkable so you can just point at whatever and you'll be satisfied....

Had a nice Vibe. Went for lunch yesterday and the experience was great. The portion sizes were good. We had the chorizo tacos, an Al Pastor quesadilla and their Talamex burrito.
