Still tasting this amazing food an hour late. So spicy and flavorful. We got the garlic naan, the chicken curry, the jlol mix Momo, and the spicy chicken steamed Momo. Good value for the portion sizes. Authentic tastes and vibes. Very attentive staff. I will be back to try out the biryani which someone else got and it looked amazing.
Nice, cozy spot near hectic Elmhurst Hospital. Very clean with pleasant service. I tried the Chicken Tikka and Beef Thenthuk. The Chicken was a bit dry, and sitting in a bed of ghee. Taste wasn’t bad, but I wish it was juicier. The Beef Thenthuk had an enjoyable, gingery broth, but it lacked salt. That’s an easy fix….better less salt that too much. Overall, the food was ok, but I like this place. I’ll be back to try some more dishes because the photos of other reviews look so good!
I have ordered from Tandoori Tibet multiple times before and have always been a big fan of their spicy momos, which is why this experience was very disappointing. This time, the momos were not spicy at all. It tasted like they forgot to add chili sauce completely and only used soy sauce and garlic. I had clearly written special instructions, but none of them were followed. While that itself was frustrating, the situation became much worse afterward. When I called the restaurant to explain the issue, I found out that they had sent beef momos instead of chicken. This is a very serious mistake because the person who was supposed to eat it is allergic and cannot consume beef. What shocked me even more was their response. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, they told me to bring the
Food is ok but take out order is extremely slow. I ordered momo soup via phone half hour ahead (I told them what time I need to pick up) and I still have to wait half hour for my food. I think they need one hour to fulfill the order. Stingy on sauce. Less than half in the container.
The food and atmosphere here is so amazing I started coming here a few years back after my doctors appt. I always get the beef/chive momos and the chicken masala with a mango lasse never disappoints
