Tanjore Bar and Restaurant

We were a group of five, and this was our ninth visit to your restaurant. We have always enjoyed your food and service in the past, which is why yesterday’s experience was quite disappointing. We ordered masala papad, chilli mushroom, noodles, and momos, but we were informed that none of those items are available. Since we were very hungry, we ended up eating what was served, but it was not what we preferred. We have ordered Gobi pepper fry they brought us chilli gobi fry and even after repeatedly asking they said it was Gobi pepper fry we didn’t even sense the taste as Gobi pepper but when the bill arrived our doubt got concluded that it was chilli panner fry. Best chicken momo ever hands down! The cocktails were also so good, not too sweet or strong or watered down.

I used to visit their original location for years, since they first opened. They were one of the best. And a notable departure from the oily reheated places popular with students. We stopped in today at this new location and were impressed with the design and the cocktail list. Mildly annoyed that the lunch menu can only be examined by standing outside since they've got nothing printed. Even more annoyed that less than half the lunch menu was available, and no meat of any kind. I'd still give them another chance because the old location holds such fond memories.

We visited this place late at night as a group of six and were pleasantly surprised by the quick and efficient service. The food overall was enjoyable. We especially liked the Paneer Chili Garlic — it was flavorful and a hit with everyone at the table. We also tried the biryani, which received mixed feedback. While some of us found it tasty, others felt it was just average. It wasn't bad by any means, but we've definitely had better biryani elsewhere. All in all, it was a good dining experience and worth a visit!

We have visited Tanjore recently, had ordered veggie friend rice & momo's.It was one of the best fried rice I ever had. Staff was quick,friendly & efficient. Margaritas were top notch!!! I think they have renovated the place recently it looks chic & trendy, Big thumbs up for hygiene 💯
