Customer Reviews
Ordered off of DoorDash. Pics we saw on DoorDash and on google matches what we received. The food was very hot, fresh, and authentic. We were sick and nothing has sounded good or tasted right lately, but this food somehow still managed to hit the spot. We got the burrito which was massive, the fajita plate, street tacos, and churros. If you like other local authentic Mexican food places such as Tacos El Carbon (on Stagecoach) or El Habanero (taco truck in Benton by Dollar General), then I think you’ll like Azteca’s food as well. Two thumbs up! These sick people are very thankful for the delicious meal 🙏
Man the food was awesome. But I would have never come as a vegetarian until I saw they used Impossible meat. So that's business they would not have had at all. But to increase the charges so significantly just to substitute the meat is not worth it. I paid almost $80 for a family of 5 for lunch. Why does it seem more worth it to these businesses to upcharge so much on customers you would not have otherwise had? Because I can't come back and spend that. So unfortunately you lost a future customer, who most certainly would have come back seeing I work right down the street. Also they will charge you even for the cups to drink water in, even when dining in. Just dumb business.
Tried a few types of street tacos with beans and rice. By itself, the meat did not impress me very much with flavor. However, everything enjoyed as a whole was very good. Overall I liked the al pastor most among the meats I tried. I thought the refried beans were better than most I’ve had.
I went here on a Saturday around 1130 am. The place was not crowded with plenty of seating. There were about six ladies working and cooking like a well oiled machine. I got the four tacos dinner with rice and beans. Two of the tacos were steak and one was chicken and the other was pork. These were made quickly and loaded with all the extras. They were extremely filling and tasty. Highly recommend.
Hands down best Mexican in town. If you are looking for authentic food without the tex mex flair, you have to go to Azteca. Been coming for over a decade. Their salad bowl is always so fresh and quite the bargain compared to the egregious prices at these chain Mexican places. My husband got a burrito that was bigger than both of my fists! Cheese dip is excellent as well.
