Taqueria Cinco

The food here was so tasty! First time in. Couldn’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We also got margaritas and they were delicious! The presentation is beautiful and appealing to eat! Only downside is there is no TV to watch a game but we played on our phone. The seating area is small inside, outside has lots of tables. Also, if you order water, it’s going to be in a bottle. Service was great and fast. Decor inside is so cute, even the bathrooms. The music is a vibe. The food is too delicious to complain! Update: We came back! Food was delicious and the service was just as awesome as the first time!

So much flavor. The portion of the tacos is huge. They definitely know how to make authentic tacos. The meat was tender, and the ingredients were fresh. We also got a bowl of rice and black beans. It was such a comfort food, homemade.

What’s happened!!! I visited during Cinco in May, food delicious Queso dip awesome!!! Visited soon after. sadly no Queso on the menu but Tacos were great Returning tonight and got this, I live on Post St, I am 10 mins walk max! Very sad to down grade what I thought was a decent Mexican restaurant 😞

First time at Taqueria Cinco and had lunch on a Sunday. Seating is available inside or on a lovely back patio. We got straight to it and selected 3 tacos. We were hoping our instincts were correct by the location in 5 Points and the high rating and reviews on Google. When served and upon tasting we were immediately gratified. The taste and quality of ingredients is outstanding and delightful. We frequently are in Austin and we know taco quality and this is it in Jacksonville in a cozy cool location right here in Jacksonville Florida. I will be back to further explore their menu!

This is my favorite taco place in Jax. Probably on the entire planet and I’ve had tacos on four continents. The Al pastor (only on weekends) is incredible, the guac is second to none, the sauces are actually spicy, and I’m a flour tortilla guy, but the corn tortillas are actually amazing. Whenever I come back, I will visit this place like a pilgrimage to a holy shrine and bow down in satisfied, delicious worship.
