The food is okay, but I wouldn't give it 4 stars. There are some standout dishes, like the frank tacos, which I do recommend. They are a little on the spicy side, but overall, they're good. I live just down the street from this place and pick up food now and then. I've noticed that some of their meat can be a little dry and flavorless. During weekday afternoons, parking can be a bit tight, so it's good to plan ahead. I suggest calling ahead to place your order because they can prepare it in less than 10 minutes. If you walk in to pick it up, you might end up waiting a lot longer.
The mole sauce was SO GOOD! This was definitely one of my favorite burritos ever! And the staff were super nice too!
We got a California Burrito and some Tacos. It was delicious. They weren't stingy for meat servings. The staff was kind and patient. We also got some horchata which was great. It's authentic Mexican food. The environment is very down to earth, which I like. It's a casual place to eat, and it's still delicious. Would definitely come back
I always make a stop here because the corn on the cob is irresistible. The beans and rice are just as delicious and make the perfect combination. I have been coming for years and it never gets old. This place always leaves me satisfied, and I will keep coming back for more.
5 stars Meaty Fries, 3 stars chicken super burrito. Five stars for the carne asada nacho fries—absolutely god-tier and the closest thing to Southern California-style fries I’ve had, maybe even better than a lot of SoCal spots I’ve tried. The fries were hot, super crispy, and perfectly cooked. I did notice some liquid in the carne asada, which makes me think they might boil the meat, but I’d need to try it in a taco or burrito to confirm. Two types of cheese processed nacho cheese and melted real cheese. Despite being drenched in sour cream, these were easily the best “SoCal-style” nacho fries I’ve ever had. As for the chicken burrito, it’s a solid three stars—pretty average. The pollo asado chicken was heavy on the black pepper, and the beans and rice were nothing out of the ordinary. It
