Taqueria El Jefe

I’ve been here multiple times and today I tired the Cabeza which in my opinion was the worst I’ve tried. Asada is alright and Al pastor sometimes is good but with all honesty the pepino drink is better than the food. Last time I bought a torta it came out to almost 20$ which is way over priced in my opinion.. I would give it one star but out of respect that I’ve been here more than once and sometimes the food was good.

The workers are super nice and this place has that hometown family business vibe you want to support. I found the serving size super generous and when I tipped, I was given a free drink! I was shocked to get my order to go so quick but the burritos and tacos we got were delicious and cooked well. I’ll definitely be ordering here again.

The carne asada taco meat was tough because it's re-heated. The salsa was not very good. The cost is too high for the quality of the food. The service was nice, but the atmosphere is very basic and cramped for space.

Needed a quick bite in between appointments and Taqueria El Jefe served my needs. I had their carne asada tacos and they were delicious! Very reminiscent of street tacos down to the sliced radishes. Good size portion and you can’t beat the prize. They earned a return visit!

Got introduced to this place from a friend and damn is the food here good the inside is a little run down with the seats and tables but theres nice cultural art all over the walls and it doesn't detract from the sexy tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc that are served here.
