Taqueria El Sol De Mexico

Went for breakfast but go there a few minutes before breakfast ended so we ordered lunch. They were able to accommodate 12 of us on a Sunday. The food did not disappoint. All of the meats were marinated well and tender. We were able to easily split our bill at checkout and service was really great

We have never eaten here, since we moved we thought what a great opportunity to try it. We were greeted with friendly faces and a warm greeting. The waitress was very friendly and produced our drinks very quickly. The chips and salsa were very good, they brought two different salsas to the table and both tasted very good, one was very flavorful, and chunky the other had heat and was very savory. The food came out quick, hot and fresh. I had the chicken fajita taco on corn tortillas, amazing..The green sauce that came to table durning the food was very spicy and tasted wonderful. We will be returning to this place.

This place used to be great a few years ago. The quality has gone way down. Their food is terrible and overpriced now. If you order anything fried, you can taste how old the oil is. I recently had a crispy beef taco and a chicken enchilada and got sooo sick from it. The beef had no flavor but it somehow tasted like it was watered down. It was the strangest and most disgusting thing I’ve ever had. It was also cold. The shredded chicken in the enchilada also had no flavor, not even salt. I used to love this place but not anymore.

I do not recommend this place me and my boyfriend got super sick after eating this food. The cilantro was black from how old it was, the cheese was rotten 0/10 do not got there. and it was expensive. we went at lunch time food should have been fresh.

This place seems like a hidden gem. The food and environment here reminds me of when my family and I went to Terralingua, a town near the border (the closest we've been to Mexico). I had Taqueria El Sol fajitas and an enchilada. The food seemed authentic and it tasted pretty good. The table service was great. Seemed like everyone was at least bilingual. I asked for fresh jalapeño and they brought me a generous serving. I ate nearly all of them 🔥
