Taqueria El Taco Loco

I used to love this place.... tonight I made an order to go and my total was off considering the menu prices online. when my husband asked the cashier about it she advised him the prices were updated. Even with the new prices my total was over by like 8 dollars but I let it slide cause I wasn't dressed to be arguing in public lol. They give you receipts with no discriptions on them so who knows what you're being charged for... I get home and my food is just sad... they stuffed everything in 1 bag so the bean broth spilled all over the place because the lid broke from the heat and the weight of all the stuff on top of them.... I paid 6.75 for a small pirata then an extra 1.50 for avocado on it and they forgot the avocado the tostada looked like scraps, the beans were mostly broth and they

These tacos were super delicious! And so is their lemonade. I love their burrito! The staff was respectful. Staff is bilingual. They charge a dollar for to go plates! This place is a great date idea! Very well priced. One of the good hidden taco gems of brownsville :) definitely has a mom and pop feel to it and I definitely will be returning 😊

This hidden gem should be a crowned as one of the places for lunch to late night eats. Flavors are consistent every time I visit. Affordable prices and value for you buck portions.

I usually pick up to go. This restaurant has nice enough servers and workers… ok! But the inside smells like pinol. Maybe it’s just my nose, but to quit using that pinesol to clean. Maybe it’s the pipes in that area. I complained to PUB, it they haven’t announced anything about that street. Good tacos Good beans
