Taqueria La Patrona - Lynnhaven

We have been coming here since they opened and have rarely had issues. The choripollo was really greasy, like pooled in the bottom of the tray. I know it’s supposed to have a little grease but I get this on the regular so it usually doesn’t come like this. It’s more cheese sauce than grease. But to top it off, there was a bread tie or a bag tie in my beans. Not really sure how the chefs didn’t realize it when plating the food but it happened. We have also gotten the camarones ala diabla and when the girls hand it out the window, it tilts and the sauce gets on everything, just bag it separately if it’s a saucy dish. La Patrona Taqueria is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious, served fast, and full of flavor. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the place has such a cozy, homey vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!

I went here for lunch and the service was prompt and the food was piping hot. The sauce they put on the fajitas was delicious and I also got an Horchata but forgot to take a picture of it. I will definitely be coming back.

I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The food, drinks, atmosphere and service were outstanding. I had a Mojito, their Chori-Queso and the Sopa de Birria. Everything was DELICIOUS!

Personal creation: Order the Sope De Birria and chicharron “taco pieces” to mix into the soup. If you enjoy their salsa and chips… add a little of your Birria soup juice into the salsa. Stir it up with a tortilla chip and tell me what y’all think.
