Very expensive for a Mexican restaurant. Very small, ugly and no parking. Menu stated they had chilaquiles but they said they didn’t have them. It was almost $63 for three people to eat. Lived in San Antonio and Austin for years, never seen Mexican food so expensive from a hole in the wall place. We ordered two of those rancheros plates and the eggs were hard cooked was rancheros. It’s supposed to be runny eggs. These were not there were all four eggs were cooked hard. Really dumpy looking place, they had motors and junk stacked up on one of the tables, a Christmas tree was still up and it was the middle of March. Really crazy, would not recommend or come back.
Mom & pop restaurant with really good, full flavor mexican food. If you want authentic, come here. If you want fancy, go somewhere else.
Food was fresh and ample. Salsa that came along with it was delicious. Spicy. No one speaks a lick of English so order and see what comes out. Rather expensive in my opinion beer was $6 and my quesadilla was $14. No guacamole included. Tacos are basic with onions and cilantro along with the meat of choice. The atmosphere in my opinion was absolutely awful. Some dude came in with liquor and drugs and turn the music up really loud. Honestly I thought a drug deal was going down and we were going to get shot. It was very hot inside. No place I would go back. Food was fresh and individually made but the atmosphere was terrible.
Delicious, hot, fresh food! Tables are spread out for dining in, take-out is also offered. Hand sanitizer is available at the door. The people were kind and service was quite quick.
Way overpriced menu items!!! Feels almost like a scam. $8 for a gordita, $14 for quesadillas and tortas. It’s insane this corner place feels entitled to these prices considering the quality of their service and atmosphere. To sum it up: My order’s total was $47 but after taxes it became $56??? She said they charge a small fee for service. I just had to cancel the whole order before they prepared it. Nothing made any sense there as I was ordering to-go. If you’re really craving for taco truck food I recommend TAQUERIA LOS POBLANOS on Broad St. and Canal St. in New Orleans.
