Taquería Lilia

Food is so yummy and taste like home, portions are great. Service is great. Tables are placed a little odd, but everything is amazing. I ordered the Tampiqueña.

I had the cheese enchiladas, it was good the sauce wasn't as thick as I've had it there in the past; but it still did the trick when you're craving authentic enchiladas.

The entomatadas were delicious, but my sopes were toasted and hard! The service was great, our waiter was attentive and nice! It was a little hot inside but over all our first time coming here was great!

The main reason why I’m putting three stars is because I specified that I wanted to get cabbage for the food for the order of SOPES and I got lettuce. I’m not sure if they understand the difference between lettuce and cabbage, but I left them a five dollar tip it was to go and I I was hoping to get what I paid for but I didn’t so that’s why I’m giving three stars. They were not attentive.

In my opinion, they have the best chilaquiles con deshebrada in all the Brownsville area. The deshebrada guisada dishes they have, such as migadas, sopes and chilaquiles, with the chile de color deshebrada are the best! I've tried many places in Brownsville, from expensive places to middle and cheap places, and no one makes deshebrada guisada like them. Of course they have other Mexican dishes, but I want to highlight chilaquiles especially with deshebrada guisada con chile color. 👌🏻
