Tas-t-o's Donuts

Man, this might be one of the best glazed cake donuts I’ve ever had. It was legit. Moist but soft yet firm all at the same time. And the glazed was sweet but not too sweet, and somehow pierced the exterior to give a nice soak to the donut. How is all that possible? I’m a bit mind blown. And the kitschy set up with donuts in the window and you order at the door. Very cool retro vibes. You can tell it’s been there forever. I’m curious how rainy mornings work though….

I’m not really a breakfast person, but this place might be changing my mind. I’ll grab breakfast here and there, and this spot was so good. My spouse recommended it since he used to stop by before work all the time and he was right. The prices are super fair for a small local business (with only one other location in Vero Beach). Go early because it definitely gets busy fast. We showed up right when they opened and there was already a call-in order and people in line, I love seeing that for a local spot. Can’t wait to try more from here. This is officially my new go-to breakfast stop in town!

I’ve been coming here for fresh donuts since high school, and the quality hasn't changed—the donuts are still delicious, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. I also appreciate that their prices remain reasonable. However, my experience today was disappointing. While the staff is usually personable, the woman at the window today seemed irritated by my presence. Even though items were clearly still on display, she told me she was 'just packing everything up' with a tone that made me feel like an interruption. I’ve always loved this place, but the service today definitely didn't match the quality of the food.

Could not be happier with both the service and quality of these donuts, best in Ocala! We ordered donuts for our open house at Leppo Rents - Bobcat of Ocala, and they were a huge hit!

Some of the best donuts ever! BUT, you have to come here early...like really early to make sure you get most of what you want. I wanted to give them a 3 star due to them always being out or not making jelly filled donuts. I travel an hr to come here and over 50% they didn't make any jelly filled or strawberry filled donuts. So, I have slowed on coming here due to that BUT the donuts are amazing!!!
