Taste of Asia

Weekends are my grocery days, and I have a little ritual of eating out for lunch afterward. Today, me & my husband stopped by Taste of Asia, an Asian bistro in Alexandria. We ordered shrimp sushi, chicken udon noodles, and chicken basil rice. We skipped ordering extra curry at first because we weren’t sure about the portion sizes—and honestly, good call. The portions were huge. Definitely more than one person’s meal. We couldn’t even finish two of the items and had to pack them up to take home. Ordering curry on top of that would’ve been total overkill. Food-wise, everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Not overly salty, which I really appreciated. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, flavorful food. Im all for finding quality food, with great portions, for an amazing price! It was so good yesterday that I may go back for dinner today. I got the general tso shrimp and my boyfriend got the general tso chicken!

Taste of Asia in Alexandria is a great spot for Asian food. The menu has a nice variety from sushi to Chinese and Thai dishes, and everything tastes fresh and flavorful. The service is friendly and the food comes out fast. Definitely a solid place if you’re looking for good Asian food in the area.

Ordered takeout right before closing and the team was still so kind. Food was great! The chicken wings were some of the best we’ve had in the area, and the sushi was all fresh and well-made! They use the good pickled ginger, too. The tempura cheesecake was a fun way to finish the meal 🩷

I recently had such a great meal here, the General Tso’s Shrimp and Rock Shrimp were absolutely delicious. Great service and the our server was very friendly. The restaurant has a very comfortable ambiance that compliments the overall quality of the dining experience.
