Taste of Kansas City BBQ & Grill

From reading other reviews i thought i would give this place a try. From the infections smile from the guy behind the counter, his great suggestions to the food everything about this place was worth a stop in. I got the daily special of the smoked wings naked, with baked beans (no pork) and an old fashion cheeseburger and fries and a good owns strawberry lemonade. While i was waiting for my food numerous customers came in after as well. At that moment i knew i was at the right spot. Order up!! ⬆️. The food looks as good as it taste definitely worth a try if you in the mood for some real food and a BIG O lemonade

During a road trip from Colorado, we passed through KC, and of course, wanted to get some BBQ while in the area. So glad we stopped here! The burnt ends and potato salad were phenomenal! The smoked wings and onion rings were huge and delicious. The service was just as great as the food. The wonderful and the sweet young man behind the counter told us all about the menu and made is feel at home. Please take the few minutes drive off 435 to check these guys out and support small, excellent, local BBQ.

I've never been a fan of bbq, was passing through KC and as KC is known for bbq, we needed to try some! A quick search showed this one was one of the best and conveniently on and off the highway. The gentleman at the counter whom I found out was the owner greeted us as we walked in the door and was very cool to talk to! Restaurant is small, but I would for sure go back here! Thanks for the great food! We got the chopped brisket and I had the burnt ends ...soooooo good.

Holy Smokes!! (Pun intended) This was some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten! The ribs were, literally, slide out the bone tender and the rub they used was super tasty. The burnt ends were dripping with flavor and the fries were crisp and fresh. The BBQ sauce is classic Kansas City tasty sweet and just the right amount of tang! So good with the burnt ends!! The picture is of the brisket loaded fries. This is a meal in and of itself! I can put down my fair share of food and I struggled to finish! They definitely do not skimp on the portions!! I highly recommend eating here. Thank you so much for an unforgettable meal!!

Always great KC BBQ. Stop here everytime I'm in town for Nascar, at least once a year if not twice. Nice local BBQ place not some chain or fancy wanna be BBQ. Get ready to get saucy.
