Taste of Soul Restaurant and Food Truck

I’m a truck driver stuck in Burlington NJ area for the weekend and being from the soul,and I was looking for good food to eat.I must say taste of soul reminds me of being back home.The food was season to perfection.Ms Nacy call me to inform me they was out of catfish.I was sick ,but she replaced with I believe whiting fish.Damn good…The portion of the food is definitely worth the money …..I will definitely be a return customer ….thank you

Fantastic first visit. We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered. I went with the pineapple jerk chicken with beans and rice and collard greens. So much flavor!!! I can't wait to go back and try other menu items

I recently booked them for a repass catering. Ms. O Was extremely friendly and outgoing. The food was off the chains! We ordered fried chicken, potato salad, mac&cheese, yams, red beans & rice, and collard greens. Not one dish was a miss! I highly recommend this restaurant! 👌

First time there. Took brother and Mother. Food was DELICIOUS. Nice size portions, flavorful, and tender. Service was attentive and friendly. Omg, and we FINALLY got a soul food place with GREAT cornbread. Omg! Moist and slight sweetness. We had Fried Chicken, Baked Turkey Wings, and Swai and Shrimp platters. All delicious. Check them out. Found this place on somebody's tiktok and I was in the neighborhood. First off, they take everything except credit card. Zelle, cash app and ofcourse cash but no credit cards. Service was rocky at first because I guess they weren't expecting sit down service. But after we were seated, service was great and prompt. The food was good. Personally didn't like the breading on their seafood but not a deal breaker. The sides are RIGHT! Very good mac n cheese, greens and potato salad. Overall. Check it out.
