Taste of Thai & Hot Pot Sugarhouse

Oh I am SO excited to come back and try more of the menu. On my first visit, I wasn't too hungry. I ordered 2 orders of spring rolls - one avocado and one mango. They were both extremely delicious. I will say, I do like the avocado spring rolls better. Okay, so the rolls themselves were delicious, but what really blew me away were the sauces that came with the rolls. That's right sauceS - plural! It came with a warm, thick peanut sauce that was already so so yummy. In addition to that sauce, it also came with a black sauce. It wasn't soy sauce...I actually don't know exactly what it is but it was SO delicious. I really liked all of it so putting both sauces together in each bite was superb. Highly recommend. The rest of the menu looked really good. I'll be sure to return with an appetite.

This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in Salt Lake City! First off, the service was impeccable. The waitress constantly checked on us and the food came out very quickly! We had Tom Kha Soup, Curry Dumplings, Massaman Curry and Panang Curry. First off if you’ve never had Tom Kha soup… Do yourself a favor and try this dish! It is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Second, both curries we had were cooked perfectly. I really appreciated that they weren’t overly rich! If you’re in the area, stop by this place. 10/10!

Loy was our server the food is excellent. Loved everything we ordered. 2 out of five was a bit too spicy for my wife so next time she will gel level 1 out of five

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. My SO and I really appreciate this peaceful and clean restaurant. Such a calm atmosphere. The owner/host/server is a very kind and polite lady. She has a keen sense of customer service and remembers what we ordered even though it might be weeks between our visits. The food is delicious! The eggplant is one of our favorite dishes!

Taste of Thai is by far the best restaurant in Salt Lake. The atmosphere is great, very classy. And the food is spectacular and we love the servers they’re so friendly and down to earth. And it’s such a shame cause they don’t have very many people dining there but If you are looking for a Thai restaurant this is the best one!!
