I was craving doubles so I thought I would try this place since I couldn't get to my normal spot Sarah's in Orange NJ. My order was placed on Doordash for two doubles....when it arrived I was so excited until the bag was placed in my hands and I noticed how light the bag was. I opened the bag to find two really thin doubles basically all dough little filling. I of course ate them because I just paid 13 bucks for a $5 meal. The taste was not disappointing at all the were actually really good but as you can see in my pictures there were really no filling. I will not be spending my money there anymore for that reason. I feel as if they made them that way because I was not there in person and that's definitely bad for business.

Just picked up some doubles from here because I was craving doubles and they were terrible. Low-key mad I wasted my lunch time and money. There's a spot in Newark on Halsey and their doubles are a thousand times better than this place. Skip this please keep driving straight down Communipaw into Newark and get you some good food. I wish I would of read the comments before stopping there. I like to support small businesses, I hope this business actually listens to thecustomer feedbacks and do some improvements, maybe get a better chef/cook or they'll be closing soon.

My 4 years old daughter and myself love Taste Of The Caribbean food. They doubles and aloo pies are off the hook! so delicious and full of tasty flavors! They sell the best doubles and aloo pies in New Jersey and New York. They curries are delicious and seasoned to perfection. They dhal puri and rotie is so soft, and tasty. The owner is very nice and friendly and customer service is excellent. Very friendly and nice people. I love they food ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My Trini husband and I were so excited to have Trini food so far away from home .. but what a disappointment. Meet was not seasoned properly and had very poor taste.. service is nice .. but they need to improve the taste..

If you live in New Jersey you don’t have to go Queens, doubles truck or Trinidad for delicious doubles they have the best tasting doubles and Caribbean food right here at Taste of the Caribbean .
