Real AUTHENTIC Jamaican food!! You can't go wrong ordering anything from here. It feels good to come from Jamaica and know when you order food it will taste like you made it at home. I love the patties, escovitch snapper, the callaloo, curry goat, oxtails...the list goes on!!! The food so doggone good that I forget to take photos EVERYTIME before indulging that should tell you it's delicious!!! Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

I am updating because my sexy server says that a review from 7 months ago is too long. I enjoyed my meal yet again and definitely appreciated Monet's service. For the prices the portions are humongous. I couldn't finish it all. Definitely happy and content little camper here. I ran across this establishment quite accidentally. Out of a strip mall with almost everything closed down was this bustling little Jamaican restaurant offering me an unexpected chance for a taste of home. I was immediately pleased with the menu as it has been hard to find authentic Jamaican restaurant that have fried dumplings and of course that is immediately what I asked for. Leaving this review for both locations bc people need to knowwww! 5 stars all around. My bf and I came to the to-go location on a whim after seeing it while on 85 & I’m so happy we did. The food is impeccable — some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had in my 30+ years and I’m willing to bet on that. I’ve had Jamaican food in NY, ATL, shoot Jamaica.. and none of it compares to what I just ate. After a 10 min ride home everything was still piping hot. We ordered brown stew chicken & bbq jerk chicken w/ rice & peas, cabbage and plantains on the side, cornbread and beef patties. Everything was moist, and fresh. The beef patties are homemade & have clearly never met a freezer a day in their life. The honey cornbread tastes like it was homemade in a skillet - my only “complaint”, don’t do orders

I love the fact they have a 12 dollar combo you can choose from. Jerk chicken has a sweet taste to it but punches some heat as well. Plantains are sweet and soft like I like. Rice and peas so good. That curry chicken patty with coco bread go hard. Overall great meal. Hard to find decent Caribbean food so I will definitely continue to order from them. Perfect for lunch when you are at work or even dinner if you don't feel like cooking.

2nd Review So we were very impressed the first time we visited Tastee Spoon, we decided to check it out again as we visited Dunwoody on our way to Florida. Welp this visit was no where near our first experience and I must say I'm disappointed in the inconsistency. So we planned to dine in but there was a small crowd and the older lady, I guess she was the "employee of the month" basically argued us down as to why we couldn't sit in the booths in the front oppose to sitting where the music was loud or crammed up on the wall behind other patriots. We didn't see the problem when they let us sit there just 2 months ago with just about the same crowd. (The booths were completely empty). We were very close to changing our mind and just patronizing another facility but we really wanted to experie
