If you’re missing real Lahore food, this family owned Pakistani restaurant in Bridgeport, CT is an absolute hidden gem. The food tastes exactly like what we grew up eating in Lahore. authentic, comforting, and full of soul. The flavors are unreal. The BBQ is outstanding, reminds me of Bundu Khan Lahore, and honestly, it might even be better. The nihari is just like Mohamedi Nihari, rich and perfectly spiced, and I personally prefer this one. What really sets this place apart is how extremely clean, hygienic, and fresh everything is. They make their dishes fresh every single day, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. Delicious Delicious Delicious authentic Pakistani cuisine. Everything from samosas to rice and chicken tikka kabob to the nan are perfect in taste!! Such a great find!! Just a warning ⚠️ the prices are rather higher than what they should be I feel. $30 for a plate is high for the atmosphere and ambiance they lack. I do a lot of dining out. I still give them a good review because the chicken tikka was mouth watering Delicious.

While coming off the ferry and looking for a quick bite before continuing our journey, I came across this Pakistani restaurant. It does not look like much from the outside and feels more like a hole-in-the-wall spot, but in the best way possible. The reviews were solid, so I decided to give it a try, and I am very glad I did. Ambience: The place itself is simple, with no-frills décor and lighting that could definitely be improved. It is not the kind of restaurant you go to for atmosphere, but more for the food. Still, upgrading the décor and lighting would make the experience even better. Service: We were warmly welcomed and served by a young lady originally from Multan, who was friendly, efficient, and quick to bring out our meal. Love the food here. It is very tasty and it is not spicy like other restaurants but is full of flavors. I love spicy food if it's not spicy then I don't like it, however I was very surprised how this food was not spicy (in terms of chili) however tasty. It is as if the combination of spices were perfect and the food was slow cooked. The chicken instantly melted in my mouth. Not all Curry will be to your liking since everybody have different taste so you just have to pick and choose the ones that you usually like. In my case all 4 currys I choose were excellent.

A few days ago we dined at Tasty Halal restaurant .Just love their food .The menu boasts classic selection of pakistani and indian dishes. We tried their goat curry with rice,naan, beef nihari, which were absolutely delicious .The spicy level was just right for us.The portion size was also generous. The service was friendly and attentive,overall making the dinning experience even more good.Prices are reasonable,making it a decent option for a budget friendly dining . But I strongly feel they should decorate their dining area to make the experience better .Overall, I highly recommend it for satisfying your craving .
