Great homemade Chinese food. I saw the noodles being made, and they were so good. The dumplings are also homemade and delicious.
I was pleasantly surprised. I came in due to torrential downpour, having read the mediocre reviews and skeptical of their noodles. I ordered fried veggie dumplings, and upon their arrival I was initially disappointed due to their lack of filling, but their crispy crunch and texture and taste made up for it! Also the sauces on the table were bomb, the combo of light and dark vinegar, soy and chili oil made the otherwise lackluster cabbage dumplings explode with flavor!!! It was so far the best veggie dumplings I have found and I have tried several.
Glad they are opened up a new location also in Chinatown with spacious and clean interior. Had their #1 house special hand pulled noodle soup, broth was good, you can taste the beef. Chose the widen noodles, they were okay, not amazing. Also had their stirred fried potato noodle with shrimp, flavor reminded me of Chinese take out restaurant Lo Mien sauce, a bit nostalgia came to mind, lol. Both dishes were $14.50, in today’s price in NYC, it’s worth but bc unlike Japanese ramen noodle, you literally get two pieces of pork, they give you a decent amount. Would recommend because of more seating, new and clean environment, reasonable price, easy location, above average food fresh ingredients. EDIT after 2nd visit. Soup base was packed with either msg or chicken powder. There was no servi
Great dumplings-fresh juicy and full of flavor the place is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly Highly recommended
Had the cold sesame noodles and fried pork dumplings. The sesame noodles were refreshing and tasty, I added some chili oil to give it a kick. The fried pork dumplings were some of the most flavorful I've had. Partner had the pork dumpling soup. Broth was clean and needed some extra sauce, but there's a good variety at the table to customize to taste. The dumplings and noodles were delicious. Place was spacious, clean and low key, with great service.
