Tasty Hawaiian BBQ & Local Food

Recently, we ate here and enjoyed it. I had the Portuguese Sausage and Eggs and chose vegetables instead of rice, which turned out to be a good decision as the veggies were tasty! They cooked em up very well. The eggs were also very delicious. My wife's Teriyaki Chicken was also well-prepared, with the sauce being flavorful without being too sweet. The staff made us feel welcome right away, creating a friendly atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with hanging out at flight either, always a fun place. I’ll be back!

Finally Tustin has a drool worthy Hawaiian go to joint! Their line close to 1 pm on Saturday was the longest of all the restaurants in the Mess Hall for good reason. The line was moving a little slowly but it was well worth the wait. The menu is extensive and the food was delicious. We ordered way too much and enjoyed it all with plenty to take home for later. The spam musbi was better than any Oahu ABC or 7/11! Made fresh and served hot. The rice was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of furikake. You get two full size pieces in one order. The chicken adobo came with rice and Mac salad. The meat was tender and moist with the perfect hint of vinegar. The Mac salad one of the best. The owner is such a sweetheart. The food was freaken phenomenal! Best I've had on the mainland yet. Everything was delicious 😋. When you order the Garlic Chicken, ask for extra sauce. OMGGGG

Incredible food and staff, meet the owner and he just has great energy. I’ve eaten at other Hawaiian chains in California and none of them compared to how good this was! Definitely recommend it.

Had the mix plate with the Portuguese sausage musubi. Interesting taste but would prefer spam over that. The mix plate was really good. The meats cooked and prepared very well. Will definitely come back to try their other menu items.
