Tasty house 味来

The food comes out piping hot and is full of flavor. The spicy beef noodles are so good, the noodles themselves have tender chew and taste hand made. The meat is tender and flavorful. Portions are large enough to share so you can order a couple of items from the menu if you’re in a group. Would recommend to a friend.

We were in the area on Sunday during lunchtime and looking for an Asian restaurant that has good parking. Many Asian restaurants in Convoy and Clairemont Mesa are very busy and have limited parking. This was rated well. It wasn’t busy when we arrived and more customers arrived later. We ordered scallion pancakes, salt and pepper fish, and combination noodles. The scallion pancakes and salt & pepper fish came piping hot and delicious. The noodles was bland and lacked vegetables. Our server was efficient and there was a sign that informed us that it was a family restaurant and their English was simple.

This place just opened up and it is on par if not better than all the other Chinese beef noodle spots in SD. Spicy Beef noodle soup is so good. I feel like the broth is well rounded. The chili oil on top is a nice addition. I lean towards a Taiwanese beef noodle broth flavor and this hits the spot for me, even tho I’m sure this is another regions style. Noodles are hand pulled in house!! Chili oil wontons are also delectable! Every bite was delightful. I actually tried these the first time I came and they’re what brought me back to want to try more off their menu!! The Peking noodles is like a true Chinese zhajiangmian (jjajangmeon). It’s a stir fried meaty sauce laid over hand pulled noodles! Can’t complain! Portions are big, prices are unbeatable.

food was delicious!! service was very nice. pictures are after we nibbled on the dishes a bit. we got the szechuan eggplant, spicy wontons, and salt and pepper fish. all hit the spot. our group of 2 people had a lot of leftovers, so great portions!

Fantastic authentic Chinese food. Owner was so nice and kind, food came out super quickly, and place was clean. Noodles were delicious and handmade some of the best I’ve had in SD!
