Taverna Modern Mediterranean

We hosted a small gathering of loved ones for our wedding soiree in October 2025. Taverna definitely exceeded expectations. From our first exchange with Shawnti, we were impressed with her professionalism, follow-up/through, and genuine interest in helping us to realize our inspiration. Coordinating food and beverage was relatively seamless.We had at least three guest with relatively severe dietary restrictions yet the Chef's team communicated rose to the occasion to ensure every single guest was served with an amazing meal. We were able to accommodate 52 guest with "the longest table ever seen" (according to one guest!). Later, we were able to move the tables back to the wall to provide more room for mingling. Our rehearsal dinner at Taverna was truly unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, inviting, and absolutely perfect for bringing our closest friends and family together. They accommodated our group of 45 with ease. The atmosphere was perfect, it felt like a dinner party with our friends and family. It was so nice to have a whole room to ourselves! And the food… wow!! Every single dish was incredible. It felt like it was never ending, and all of it was delicious. All of our guests were just as impressed as we were. The menu felt elegant but also approachable. Just last week I had a guest mention "those bacon wrapped dates from Taverna" and its been months since our event! This restaurant hit us just right. We were hungry after a day on the slopes, and we very much enjoyed our meal. We first shared an order of dolmades (they were delicious) and for our main dish, we order the lamb chops and the bowl with gyro. Portions are copious and everything was tasty.

Quick lunch stop at flagstaff (on the transit)- family of 4 including 2 kids. Portions were good size and food was fresh from kitchen. We had gyro, pizza, salad and kebobs- all yum! Will surely come back after the trip.

Want to start with the fact that I’m not even from Arizona but without a doubt I’ll be going here the next time I visit. The food was amazing and everything we ordered was phenomenal. I also will appreciate great customer service as well as recommendations from the servers and I’d like to give a big thanks to Madi our server. She was polite, responsive and we will all come back because of how great she was! PS. Madi recommended a fig vodka cocktail I think and whatever it was we had loads of them so it’s highly recommended!!
