TAVERNA

We’ve been loyal customers of this restaurant for years, and we eagerly anticipated Valentin’s dinner here as always. However, this year’s experience was quite disappointing in terms of the food. We ordered lamb chops and salmon. The lamb was cooked to perfection and had a great texture, but it lacked the desired spice. The salmon, on the other hand, was nothing special. It tasted just like what I cook at home, and the vegetables were watered down, which diminished the overall flavor. The only redeeming quality of the meal was the family-style shared plates. These were a nice touch, but they didn’t make up for the disappointing food. I’m writing this review because we genuinely enjoy the restaurant and hope they can make some improvements to their menu.

The appetizers were good and you could make a meal out of them and the sides. I liked the fried fish, anchovies and the meatballs with yogurt sause was great. I had the lamb chops which were excellent including the crispy potatoes and sauses. Wife had shrimp which she liked. We were in the larger group room which was a little noisy but they have outside seating and other rooms that are quieter. The service was great.

Hosted a senior executive business dinner at Taverna and had an excellent experience. Taverna staff coordinated seamlessly and delivered attentive, polished service throughout the evening. The food was high quality, well-paced, and consistently excellent. A great setting for private business gatherings where both cuisine and service matter. Highly recommend.

I absolutely fell in love with this restaurant ❤️ The atmosphere is incredible — I felt like I was visiting old friends at their villa in Greece: cozy, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The wine was excellent, the Greek salad was the best I’ve ever had, and the fish was unbelievably tender. Every dish felt like a small trip to the Mediterranean. I sincerely recommend Taverna to anyone who appreciates great food and a truly special vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back 💙🍇🥗🐟

Excellent service and the good was really good as well. We started with their dip trio, I had the lamb shank special and finished with baklava. Great meal but the service was impeccable and friendly.
