Taylor Chip Cookies & Creamery

Biking nearby with my daughter, and saw a review stating 'better than crumbl'... Confirmed. Cookies, ice cream, plus an Americano for me - and seating! Also cheerful and helpful staff. Oh and they had a GF cookie option as well - Loaded Peanut butter! Highly recommend the tart berry crumbl ice cream - surprisingly good.

Upon visiting Pennsylvania, I always make it a point to stop by Taylor Chip; I was pleased to find a location in York and acquired a 6 pack of their tasty cookies. The lone guy working the store on January 14th was very helpful and friendly!

I've been a huge fan and supporter of Taylor Chip since they started out. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill as they have expanded over the years. My most recent trip was to redeem a free half dozen from point accumulation. I'll just say that I'm glad I didn't pay money for them and it will likely be my last visit. There were only 6 larger sized cookies available for the free half dozen due to their new change in cookie size, so the options were limited but I got one of each. They were awful. Every cookie tasted the same as the next and had a weird flavor to it. Everyone at the gathering they were shared at agreed. Despite being warm when we got them, as they cooled they were hard as a rock and almost inedible. Very disappointing.

My wife and I stopped by this location at the end of date night after hearing about how great the cookies were. They had a day old taste to them and definitely not worth the steep price of $4-$5 for a cookie. I contacted their corporate hoping to be welcomed back with replacement cookies and was told no. They said that staff are always able to warm the cookies up a bit so they taste more fresh. A good suggestion but doesn't help us now because we're still out $30-$40 that was spent on sub-par cookies. Minimalist lobby, substandard cookies but friendly staff. Save yourself the trouble and visit Crumbl in West York or Nothing Bundt Cakes right down the road from Taylor Chip.

Friendly staff is always a plus to me. The two locations that I have been to for this company, still have yet to fail on that one. As for the products themselves, there is a good variety and the bonus: they keep them around for a while! So you have plenty of time to check them out and also spread the word a little so that your friends and family can enjoy something sweet too. (There’s even a few seasonal ones available throughout the year!) I’d also like to mention that they make fantastic cookie cakes. I have made it a yearly tradition to get one for my birthday and to let my kids choose between getting one of their cakes or a DQ cake.Two years in a row now, they both have chosen a Taylor Chip cookie cake.
