Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe

Taziki’s on Main Street is a solid spot in downtown Chattanooga. The atmosphere is decent—it's a two-story, well-used space. While it’s clean and comfortable, it’s definitely more functional than fancy. That said, the location is excellent, especially if you're walking from nearby offices or event venues. The staff were pleasant and polite, though they didn’t seem particularly knowledgeable about the food beyond the basics. They got the job done, but if you’re looking to dig into ingredients or prep methods, you may not get much insight. Wow where do I start? The food was superb, I got the Harrisa Spiced Chicken Gyro and also got a Lamb Gyro both were astonishingly great, I’ve found it fairly difficult to find good fresh ingredients like these in Chattanooga and this blew me away from what I’d expected. Loved the second floor window seating and the staff was so mannered & polite, ended up having a pretty good conversation with the gentleman that took my order up front and that’s always a pleasure. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anybody looking for lunch between 8-14 dollars! The only downside is parking obviously but, they do have special takeout parking spots next to the building, although I was dine in, it was extremely thoughtful in the city. 9.3/10!

I walked by this cafe before the gym and saw the "summer salds" ad. After powerwalking, weight and swimming, I returned to buy the Greek Salad with Salmon Filet to go. I took it home sight-unseen and found this lovely presentation, fresh, delicious, tomatoes, olives, cucumber...cheese, plenty of dressing, a wedge of toast and a LOVELY AND DLEICIOUS AND BIG...SALMON FILET (wrapped in foil to stay hot). Most delicious salad I have had in years...(outside of my own home-made!).

I work downtown.. this is a place that is quick and easy. Not a lot of flavor but good enough. Customer service is mid and the atmosphere is decent. For a quick and healthy lunch it's ok.

I visited this place based on the reviews on Mother's day 2021. It was absolutely dead inside just me and one other table upstairs. I was a little worried that the reviews had failed. However being a holiday I can see why at the time they were not busy as it was between lunch and dinner hour. I ordered my at the counter self serve drink. One thing that is a definite turn off for me is to ask for a tip on a counter order. I don't see the point. I was pleased with the food when arriving it was well put together and hot. I have to say the tomatoe cucumber salad is really good and the beef was really tasty too. I would definitely visit this establishment and try other dishes.
