Tea Meet Rice

ok, took us a while to find this place, no show on google map first of all (see photo I attached) and then the name is not clear, you can't find them anywhere outside the building except the Chinese sign on top of the bulky yellow wall. the day we parked right in front of the store to pick up our lunch across street to Taipei Gourmet and wondering if its opened because it's all wall except the front door...oh boy the staff were friendly and the rice rolls are exceptional! we only ordered 2 ( salty eggs and original) to try out and we like both of our orders but we love love loved the original roll, so fresh and they even put 1/2 stew egg in it. Not just because it's NOT wrapped in plastic bag or wrapper like others (I don't want microplastic in my food !) instead they had well-cooked purpl

Unfortunate to hear about the other (negative) reviews, but looks like things shaped up quickly. The staff was friendly, quick, and the food was good! Will be back again.

The purple rice snack was yummy! I was very excited for the handmade lemonade but it did not meet my expectations. The milk tea was not good either. I will give it a few more tries for their other fruit drinks. The staff was super helpful and friendly!

The food was good, but the staff really need proper training. It’s a small place, yet there were five or six employees just standing around chatting with each other. They even commented on the items customers ordered, which made the experience very uncomfortable. It truly felt like they had not received any customer service training at all. Even when food was ready, no one bothered to pack it because they were too busy talking. Very disappointing service experience.

Support local businesses, but their staffs under train. Walk in try to place order, one of the staff behind the counter was eating, talking, training another staff, and standing very closed to that staff who preparing customers’ food seem unprofessional. The person at the register ignored me and took another person who literally just walked in. Probably the person is their friend. I was in line first but still
