Ted's Montana Grill

This was a very good dinner besides a few things I’d change or didn’t like. Once we were seated we had to wait 5 mins to even get our drink order taken, maybe a bit longer. Apparently no one told a waitress we had been seated. No big deal at all and they apologized. The service after that was phenomenal actually. Now for the food. I had the canyon creek burger. Was done perfect with lots of good flavor from the patty. I didn’t like that the egg had no seasoning at all. No salt or pepper. The yolk wasn’t as runny as I’d wanted either but it’s all good. Visited Ted's Montana grill on a recent Saturday evening. It was busy but was able to get back table right away. They did ask if we had a reservation so it might be something you do if you are considering going. Service was quick and friendly. Cucumbers were complementary, which I thought they were tasty but kids at the table were not fond of them. Nachos as an appetizer was a great option for a teenager as an entrée. This was the table favorite. Kids burger was good. The menu had lots of choices and I was stuck between several options. The server recommended the Bison Brisket that came with potatoes and mashed potatoes. The presentation was nice but it lacked in flavor. Well it was my sister's pre celebration birthday dinner and I treated her to where she used to work at in the Glenview location. This is the last Ted Montana's and my sister wanted to eat their signature food. I've been to the Glenview location but that's been more than 10 years. Anyways I had the bison short ribs it was mouth watering delicious. Very moist with my carrots and garlic mashed potatoes. The bison chili I ordered was wonderful. I also ordered an apple crisp for dessert. My sister gave me a sample of her bison filet and it was delicious. The crab cakes my sister friend order she said it was delicious with kale and fresh broccoli. Ambiance was nice and romantic despite it's a group dinner. I would come back to boilingbrook but this would be for special occasion

First time here. The bison burger I had was cooked to perfection. My server Jen was very polite and really made sure I was taken care of throughout the meal. I will be coming back. Give Jen a raise!

I ordered the Bison ribs and Huckleberry martini totaling $46. I wasn't expecting such a small glass nor was I expecting only one rib, which was disappointing. My dish was smaller than my friends bison meatloaf dish. My food was OK, nothing over the top. The prices are a bit high for the portions. I live down the street and this was my first time here. We were the last people in the restaurant. We reserved a booth at 6 and left at 930pm. Waitress left our table filled with plates, the bills, and glasses. She never cleaned the table for us and we sat there an extra 1.5 hours after charging out. We were the only people still at the restaurant since 8pm. It cleared out fast. Atmosphere was nice. Waitress was ok.
