Telly’s Taverna Of Port Chester

I don’t usually leave reviews on Google but I’m hoping that this restaurant sees more foot traffic. Starting with the food: everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. I tried the spanakorizo and the gardies saganaki and enjoyed both. I also have enough leftover to eat another meal! The service was great and all the staff were super attentive and kind. The restaurant is very spacious and has a nice atmosphere. Give it a try! ✨

Not a familiar Greek menu. Spanakopeta with spinach and Feta cheese whipped in a thick mush placed in a wheat crust? Unimaginative, experimental, and overpriced menu. Oversolicitous service . Design is perfect for a restaurant. Atmosphere is alive, spacious, and open. Too bad, when we entered , I expected a distinctive dining. Disappointed.

This should be your go to place for either Greek food or for a beautiful place for any special event. Ask for Alex, he is the diamond in an otherwise gem of a restaurant. Enjoy and bon appetit!!

Where do I begin…… let’s start with the fact that no one even asked me what I wanted to drink. I drank table water the entire night when I wanted a Diet Coke. I arrived at dinner at 730. Didn’t leave till 10 pm. I could have taken a plane to Florida. We ordered 5 dinners, they got 3 dinners wrong. I was wiping my hands on my pants because there was no napkins. The lamb kabab was like chewing on a rubber tire. It was my fiancé’s birthday. We brought a cake and asked them to cut up the cake and serve it. We were waiting twenty minutes before we told them never mind just give us the cake back. Absolutely atrocious experience.

Food and service were next level! Highly recommend. Had the grilled squid and fried calamari. Delicious! Best Greek restaurant in the area by far. Our server and Kostas were excellent!
