First time trying Tempe Eats Food Hall and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered a variety of food from the different places and must say Freestylez soul food was by far the best! We tried the wings and catfish plate, (wings & fries, catfish, Mac n cheese & yams) everything was cooked and seasoned to PERFECTION! It also came out fresh piping hot! 10/10 The next star of our experience was the Rollin Smoke BBQ where we tried the burnt ends sandwich, coleslaw, beans, and potato salad plus their variety of sauces made it complete! Honorable mentions would be the fishpop spicy butter fish and chips which was tasty but not really spicy and the koolaid was top notch! The birria tacos were just okay, they were small for the price, dry and didn’t come with any consume. Finally we didn’t care for

What an amazing concept!! We met the owner and gave us the entire run down. We heard about this place due to fishpop from brits saying how good the spicy fish and chips were and they didn't not disappoint... can't say it was the best, missing all those extra crunchy bits that fish n chips is famous for. That being stated it was fabulous (a bit on the greasy) but still tasted amazing, same with the chips (slightly over cooked). Those peas oh my, some of the best ive had. They are not mushy much much better. Our bartender was lovely and I mean $3 margaritas who would say no. We the. Got the birria Ramen, it was alright. The birdie broth was a bit light in terms of flavor and richness. Much better after some lime and salt but still lacking a bit. We got it to go and they put the noodle in w

Decided to try this place after seeing it on social media. Did not like the fact we had to get up and get our own drinks and whatever we needed. Our food was delivered but that was all. Ordering off our phones and food coming at different times. We all sat around looking at each other as one person ate and we just had to wait on our food. Very strange. Veggie bowl was tasteless. Hot honey chicken was double breaded with a thin slice of chicken. The chicken wings were fried too long with very little meat. I ordered the catfish and fries. I said "They don't have seasoning in the back." Everything had no taste. We killed everything with any kind of sauces we were given. I ordered three empanadas. Chicken, traditional beef, and spicy potato. I recieved one chicken and two potato empanadas.

Chick Pop, Not worth the hype! Saw the video on insta. Showed a huge (an entire piece of chicken outside the bun) sandwich. If you had another bun, two people could eat off of it, it was that large. Also showed chicken breast. This was small (but flavorful) chicken thigh. There is no wait staff, you order from a kiosk, and wait to hear your name called out. Wish I could share the insta video. Obviously can't. Although the food was good, very flavorful, and hot, it took 25 minutes to get our food. There were only four other tables besides us in the entire restaurant. Check out the insta video, and then try it yourself. I was able to do a couple screenshots of the influencer who obviously was given much better quality and much larger piece than we received.
