Temporarily Closed - Garlic and Tahini Egyptian Kitchen - Delivery & Carry Out Only

It was quite an experience. We decided to give this a try and drove to it but it is actually just a kitchen in a very off the map kind of an industrial/office location. So make sure to order and pick up only or to get it delivered even better. Menu is very simple just shwarema in pita or bowls. Only thing I am but disappointed about is that when you read the menu it has a price at top and then 3 steps to order and last step is pick hummus or baba ghanoush side for your order. No where it says the side is not included in the price so that's a surprise when you pay. I think menu should be more clear. Now to the food it was actually quite tasty and fresh and the shwaremas had a good amount of meat. We liked the beef shwarema more than chicken or cilantro chicken but all were tasty. D

We discovered this stand at the little Italy farmers market and I had been wanting it again ever since! They make really delicious food and their prices are not bad for what they serve! Got both the eggplant and the falafel wrap which are delicious. We ordered through doordash tonight and the app was not communicating with the restaurant. The man working there was super nice and still made us our food while we called doordash to resolve the issue! The eggplant was so delicious and flavorful. The falafel was a great texture and the toppings were quite good as well. We will certainly be going back and hope to get some platters from them in the future!

The eggplant pita had great spice. The falafel pita could have been more herbaceous but the texture of the falafel was perfect; not dry, not mushy. The bread was very well made. Honestly the garlic sauce was not garlicky enough, especially for a restaurant with 'garlic' in the name, but I like garlic to punch me in my stupid face. Overall this was an excellent meal and I'll definitely be back.

Delicious. Please reopen! Eggplant and humus are really delicious. The meat is clove-heavy so it isn't my favorite. But toppings are fresh and plentiful. We order family style and always have enough for lunch the next day.

I had and outdoor at the park event. We got chicken Shawarma sandwich. Everyone loved it and kept asking , where form? Was a great choice of food.
