Customer Reviews
We ordered one Guoyourou noodles and one Big Plate Chicken mixed noodles. Both were delicious, and even my friends thought the Big Plate Chicken was very flavorful. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food quality was excellent, and the portions were very generous. I highly recommend this place. We also noticed the owner eating the staff meal while we were dining, which gave us confidence in their food hygiene. Definitely a place worth recommending to everyone.
Very cool small place that I would never have found without a friends recommendation. Order at the counter, sit at one of something like 6 tables, get your food delivered to the table in paper plates and eat said food. Very basic atmosphere and service, but perfectly suitable for the vibe on offer. Food is generally good, I found most offerings too salty but that may just be me. The home made noodles were the highlight for me, beef products were generally not too good, lamb better. Menu is large and yummy looking, portions large and prices very good. Will go again for sure.
This place was a hidden gem. Sure, they use paper plates and plastic silverwares. But the food was so flavorful. We had a member with gluten and egg restrictions, but he enjoyed the dinner. And the rice noodle dish was very spicy but delicious. Would definitely visit again.
Tried Tengri Tagh Uyghur Cuisine in Midtown NYC and did take-away. Ordered the Big Plate Chicken and Stir-Fried Lamb with Onion. Both dishes were excellent — bold flavors, generous portions, and you can really taste the original herbs and spices. The lamb was especially fragrant and well-balanced. If you’re looking for authentic halal Uyghur food in NYC, this place is highly recommended. Definitely worth a visit.
They have some frickin good lagman noodles! So delicious. Best laghman I've had and I'm married to a central Asian. We tried both types. Staff was nice and answered all my questions. Noodles were a perfect thickness and texture all around. Portions are big. Decor is super cute too I love the gourds!
