Texas Buffet

Service was outstanding. I love that they don’t have huge hot plates - that way ensures that fresher food is coming out all the time. Relatively chill. Fried fish was awesome. However, they do not have Coke products only Pepsi products.

Texas Buffet is a solid spot if you’re hungry and want options. The food is good, portions are generous, and everything stays hot, which says a lot for a buffet. Nothing worse than lukewarm trays, and that wasn’t the case here. The service is excellent. Staff is attentive and keeps things moving, and the wait time isn’t long at all. You can get in, get seated, and get to eating without feeling like you’re camping out in the lobby. Now, the price is a little on the higher side for a buffet. For a family of four, it can add up, so shucks, it’s not exactly pocket change. But it’s still doable, especially considering the portions and the variety you get. Overall, it’s a good choice for a quick date night or a relaxed family dinner when you don’t feel like cooking and want plenty to choose from

The chocolate fountain for marshmallows is a unique dessert feature. 100% my newest #1 go-to buffet in the Houston area! Superb service — a wide variety of foods — the establishment is clean — and everyone is friendly!

The food selection was impressive—everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, from the classic Southern-style dishes to the flavorful international options. I especially appreciated how frequently the trays were replenished and kept hot. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained, including the dining area and restrooms. You can tell the staff takes pride in the environment they provide for customers. Best of all, the price was extremely reasonable for the variety and quality offered. Whether you're coming with family, friends, or just craving a hearty meal, Texas Buffet is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be coming back!

I was up around the Cypress area and thought I'd stop in and see what they had. With a name like Texas Buffet, I didn't expect an Asian buffet! It looks like a converted Golden Corral but they did manage to change it up inside. Pretty standard selection of food on the buffet and it wasn't bad but nothing really stood out to me. They did have a habachi station but I didn't get that far. Seems like really nice staff and everything is pretty clean as well. They've been open for like 9 months and if I lived or worked in that area, I would probably try them again and update my review. The one positive thing that stood out to me was the pricing that made it worth the visit.... including giving seniors, military, FD and PD discounts!
