Texas Smokehaus BBQ

Today was my first time. Let's start with the potato salad. Had a bit too much going on but has a decent flavor. And some kind of meat inside of it?? And then the corn. I asked to sample it because I was asked what size I wanted. And then I overheard her asking in the back, "Do we have enough for a pint?" I ended up getting the pint, and when I got home, it seemed to be more watery than when I sampled it. I also said I was gonna get a pound of brisket and a pound of jalapeño sausage. The brisket was gray and did not taste smoked. She also had to check to see if there was a pound of the jalapeño. And asked if I'd like to fill the rest of the pound with regular sausage, and I said whatever is left of the jalapeño is perfect, even if not a pound. Then she still made it a pound with the regula

We called in an order because bbq sounded good and prices were good and it was on the way to where we were headed. We are very happy about the food! It is delicious!! Moist meats with great flavor. It’s our new favorite bbq place here in Texas so far! We will definitely be returning and bringing family.

First time here. Sorta hidden off the highway but use the yellow signs for guidance. Most of the gems are hard to find anyways, right? Great service, gentleman that helped me was extremely welcoming and nice. Ordered the I35 pileup. Very good, nice flavors and I could taste the freshness. The pico had nice color and freshness in each bite. If I had to compare this to the “trash can plate” from somewhere I won’t mention…. I would pick this every time no doubt. Both are priced about the same, but here there is a lot of flavor in each bite.

Great bbq! Brisket, pulled pork, and chicken - all delicious. Wonderful sides, don't miss the potato salad. And the friendliest folks running the place.

Really good bbq! Today was my third visit. I got a 1/2 chicken with sides and a drink. The chicken is moist, tender and flavorful with a light smokiness and not too much salt. Sides are on point too. Service is excellent, plumb neighborly. Will definitely continue my patronage here.
