Texas Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

I was in the neighborhood and had time, found myself in the mood for barbecue, and tried out Texas smokehouse BBQ. I was placed I did. The barbecue was very good-not the best I've ever had-but unusually good for a neighborhood barbecue place in North Dallas. The barbecue portions of brisket and ribs were generous. The baked beans were excellent as was the barbecue sauce. The potato salad was a little bit sweeter than I prefer, but very good for its style. Staff was friendly, and looked to be the owners. I found $16 for the two meat combo plate to be quite fair. All in all, recommended. I'd come back.

If you in the area and love bar-b-que you need to stop here. The amount of food always has me coming back and the price is reasonable. Highly recommend

If you look at the menu online, you will experience sticker shock upon dining at Texas Smokehouse. Those prices are from 2016, so the daily specials went up to $16 and change. I visited on a Tuesday and that meant I was having Pulled Pork. The server was generous with the portions, but that couldn't save it from being too dry. It wasn't bad, just not as juicy as I like it. Texas Smokehouse has one sauce, and it's tangy and flavorful. You get two sides with the Special plate so I opted for the green beans and cheesy taters. Those taters were yummy, and I immediately wished I'd served myself more. A piece of Texas toast and a drink rounds out the rest of the Special. I managed to resist the desserts on offer (but that cobbler looked mighty fine). I will have to return some time to try the Br

They have THE best BBQ!! Love all the sides they offer too. Tony, the owner, is such a great person - love giving him my business.

Good BBQ. They have daily deals to not hurt your wallet. Staff was extremely friendly. Never been there before, but they made the ordering process easier. Will be back to try ribs and a baked potato.
