Thai Central Cuisine

It’s authentic Thai food, and most of the dishes were good. For the South Sea spicy fried rice, I chose the medium spice level, and the seafood was fresh. Moo ping is grilled pork skewers. The seasoning was good, so it tasted great even without sauce. Pad Thai had a traditional flavor, and it came with a good amount of tofu and egg. It was a bit sweet, but still tasty. The Thai coffee was strong and good as well. It was quite sweet, but I think that’s just the usual style.

Probably the best Thai food I have ever had, the tom cha soup was excellent with delicious shrimp, my green curry was so dam flavorful and creamy just excellent. My parents enjoyed all there dishes which consisted of basil fried rice and pad Thai. The service was great and the food was beyond excellent.

Never order fried fish cake in this place. It's all fried flour, not a single taste or whif of cat fish in that dish. We even asked the server to try it for herself but she declined and kept arguing with us. Even with the complaint and not being able to eat the dish, they still added it on our bill. We used to like this place that's why we keep going back but aa the years go by, the quality of the food has greatly changed and they have been skimping on ingredients. Thai Central Cuisine wasn’t on the itinerary during our Los Angeles trip, but we stumbled upon it after descending from the Hollywood Hills. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be the best meal we had in the city — and one of the highlights of our entire trip. The flavors and presentation still linger in our minds until now, and we often find ourselves talking about it to this day. It was the perfect farewell dinner to mark our final night in Los Angeles and the end of our journey. The Seafood soup is a must-try. This was in July 2024, yes I am late but did not forget posting this well-deserved compliment to this hidden gem! If ever I go to LA again, this is the first place to go on my list!

This visit was very disappointing due to the service. The food itself was not bad, and there is clearly potential here. However, the overall experience was greatly affected by the extremely poor service from one staff member. We had to call for service multiple times and were consistently ignored. Eventually, another staff member had to step in and ask that person to come take our order, which should never be necessary. When we requested the check, the same staff member again showed a complete lack of attention and interest, and there was no courtesy or acknowledgment at all. That said, I would like to highlight that another staff member was polite. Their attitude made a noticeable difference and showed what the service here could be like.
