A local establishment serving authentic Thai cuisine that will transport your taste buds. The ingredients and flavors were genuinely inspiring, at least in the two dishes I savored. The papaya salad could have used a bit more zest, but I did request it to be made mild. I asked them to substitute minced pork for minced chicken in the laab dish, and they graciously accommodated my request. Both dishes paired exquisitely with my beloved sticky rice.

The photo of the basil fried rice is true however, the comment that it is authentic basil fried rice is incorrect. I did not expect that McCormick red top dried basil flakes would be part of basil, fried rice, in a Thai restaurant. Basil fried rice typically has fresh leaves of basil, and this was the most disappointing and inauthentic basil fried rice ever. I’ve been to more than 30 different Thai restaurants in both United States and overseas and unfortunately, this is a place that I cannot recommend at all. Thai food is possibly one of my most favorite foods and I will not patronize this place because it’s so disappointing.

I discovered Thai Chang II during grad school. This food is delicious! My favorite is the beef salad. I've eaten at many other Thai places in GA, and this one is still #1. The restaurant is a small family business with friendly service. And the atmosphere is quiet, which is nice when noise is everywhere. I often meet friends here, and we can hear each other talk.

The food was pretty good, just one complaint. There was a picture of the mango salad on the wall. It was not listed in the menu. My wife asked if they had it, and they did, so we ordered it. It was $30.00, they never mentioned the price, and we never asked because everything else was reasonably priced. A heads-up would have been nice. Overall, it was a good experience, but I doubt I'll be back.

Definitely a hole in the wall but quick service with amazing food. I get chicken pad thai and coconut soup whenever I go and it never disappoints.
