I've only had the curry here so far, but it is very delicious they can accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets. The food tastes authentic and home cooked, just like my mom and aunties back home. Definitely come here for some good lunch options as well!
Very quick and delicious Thai / Asian food. The level of spice I would recommend minimal unless you like spicy. Even 2-3 out of 5 was very spicy for me, and I don’t mind a little spice. But it was spicy. Choose 0 or 1 for spice level if unless you like spice! I’ve had the drunken noodle and pad Thai. And spring rolls. Everything was very good.
We had an awesome experience tasting Thai cuisine here. We ordered the Chicken Panang Curry and Tom Yum soup. Both had unique taste. They came in cute little plastic sealed food boxes for easy carryout. The Tom yum soup had the lemon leaves in it which added to the zing of the soup in every spoon! 😍 It was brilliant as a starter. Just be careful about the spice level, they have 1 to 5, five being the highest. The Panang curry was easily the best Thai food I ever had. It had coconut milk/cream and so it helped to alleviate the spice from the Tom yum soup. Definitely recommended, I would go over there to taste their food again!
Love, loooovee Thai Express! My food is always so good, I usually get the chili fried rice with shrimp which you can choose the spice of so it can be spicy or not really spicy. I usually get mild bc I’m a lightweight. I also like the DELICIOUS Thai BBQ ribs. The owner/manager is also the nicest😊 The space is pretty small and sometimes smells funny (the Columbia special😅), but never any major complaints. I’m always so happy to get a meal from here.
Never heard of the place until a college friend recommended it. Once inside, the it was a lively atmosphere with a bar or table seating option. The wait on the few was very reasonable (about 10 minutes) with portion sizes fair to the price. Pictured is the spicy seafood stir fry with a heat level of 5, rice, and a side of spring rolls. Would recommend a level 2 or 3 for enjoyment purposes. No other words to comment except that this would definitely a restaurant to place of on the bucket list in Columbia, MO.
