Thai Garden Cuisine

A great stop to break up the road trip back up North with some tasty thai food. The couple that served us were so welcoming and friendly. The clementines were a pleasant surprise. And double bonus they gave my sister a popsicle because she wasn’t prepared for her medium spicy food 🤣

If I could give a 100 stars I would. The place is clean and so fun. There is so much to look at, including pictures of the chef with the Thai royal family. We got the papaya salad, lemongrass soup, drunken noodles, and black pepper and garlic. Every last one of them was so delicious! Our server was great and the chef came out and talked to us and was so sweet and kind. I will definitely be back.

We had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant that I found through Google Maps. The decor both inside and outside of the restaurant transported me straight to Thailand, with unique decorations and vibrant colors that really set the scene. The owner is a Thai-Chinese, she is so sweet and enthusiastic! The food we tried was homemade and authentic, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. The fried fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the drunken noodles had just the right amount of spice to give them a kick. The fried rice and Pad Thai were also standouts, with unique flavor combinations that were both delicious and satisfying. Gosh what a delightful lunch that my daughter and I had at this Thai restaurant that is on Center Street in down town Goldsboro, NC. When we entered we felt like we were in Thailand with the extensive number of Thai decorations. Then we were met by a very friendly man who went out of his way to make us comfortable. We ordered the spring rolls, Pad Thai noodles, beef salad, and Thai tea. We were surprised how authentic and delicious it was. We had lived in Guam and we never expected to find Thai dishes in NC to compare to Guam’s, but this cook is the real deal. She even grows much of her own herbs and vegetable that she incorporates into her plates. While we were there she ran to her garden and brought me a sprig of fresh basil for my salad. This is my new favorite restaurant in Goldsboro.
