Thai Lotus

Yesterday we had lunch at Thai Lotus in Winchester, VA. Everything was absolutely perfect. Every entree, every appetizer. I had the Pad Thai with seafood, Thai hot. Could not be better. You can tell each entree is prepared individually, critically judged by the chef for appearance, taste and overall perfection. The food is worth at least twice the price. It's well worth what you pay for. We have been eating there for over 1 year now and everything we have ordered has been perfect.

Thai coffees and drunken noodles were delish!! Wish they were playing traditional Thai music instead of old 80s music - would make ambiance authentic. Thanks!

Food is amazing. I'm from California and I live in an area with a lot of Asian food so I've tried many Thai places before. Had a business trip to Winchester. I had low expectations when I came to this restaurant. It turned out very delicious and clean. I ordered pad Thai & green curry. Both are very good.

Staff was very attentive and service was great! I couldn't bring myself to appreciate the food. Ordered green curry and spring rolls. Basic. But the curry was underwhelming, lacking heat, aromatics from the herbs, and had very little flavor profile. Tasted more like cream-base chicken soup than Thai green curry. Even if you ordered it Thai spicy, the kitchen would have only added crushed chilli powder to it. Well, then it's no longer green curry. Having some insight on shortcuts that several Thai restaurants take on basic appetizers, I asked if the spring rolls were homemade. Was told yes. Food is the best Thai food in the area. One of the best I’ve had. We are always seated quickly and the food arrives quickly. There is never a crowd and it’s very cozy. Staff is super friendly and I highly recommend them.
