Thai Prime Restaurant & Bar

Service: The first time we tried going here a week before this, it was extremely busy. We did not make a reservation so we did expect a wait. However, we went up to the host and asked how long it would be and they didn’t really seem to know what they were doing. It was very messy. We were asked to sit down and wait and they will let us know in a bit. Over 20 mins passed by, nothing. I think they forgot about us until we went up to them and one of the host said 2 hours wait while the other one said 1.5 hours. Not sure what’s going on here. In terms of service during our 2nd visit with reservation, our waiter was not bad. I could tell that this place is understaffed, but our waiter was nice and caring otherwise. This place is absolutely stunning and spares no detail to the decor or spectacular food presentation. The food and service were both wonderful and we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable food and drink prices. We can’t wait to go back again!

We attended the first opening day, everyone was so welcoming and friendly, the ambiance and atmosphere of the dining room is stunning. We went all out ordering our fav dishes and everything pictured was excellent. Their menu has some authentic street style Thai dishes that you don’t normally see at other Thai places like Moo Ping (pork on a stick) our friend was blown away. SO GOOD!!!!

Really enjoyed my experience at Thai Prime. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pineapple fried rice served in a pineapple was a fun touch and tasted great. You can tell they put care into the dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed but still feels a little upscale, which makes it great for dinner with friends or a date night. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything came out quickly. Definitely one of the better Thai spots around Carmel. I’ll be coming back to try more from the menu.

As someone who just came back from Thailand.. the food and atmosphere is spot on. The Pros: Was greeted at the door. They are flexible with the menu. Food quality was amazing Prices are comparable Basil fried rice was amazing. Sticky RICE! Cons: None Amazing and will become a main! Can't wait to try the Tom Yum Soup!!!
