Thai Taste

I stopped in for lunch with colleagues on a Tuesday. Upon entering, staff were friendly and made sure I found an accommodating seat. Service was excellent - beginning to end. I had the Spicy, a curry chicken stir fry, and a side cucumber salad. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I added chili oil to the spicy to give it a little more heat complexity. I highly recommend dining here.

We love Thai taste!! We will go out of our way to come here. The best Thai food! The garlic fried rice is a favorite but everything we’ve had has been so delicious! Restaurant is very clean and service is quick.

To start we stood in the entry way for about 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged us and told us to sit wherever. So after seating ourselves the service didnt get any better. We were given menus and had to wait for the waitress to come back around 5 minutes later to take drink orders. Once drinks came we ordered spring rolls, cream cheese wonton and entrees. The wonton came out 5 minutes later. Then another 5 minutes passed and the spring rolls came. Then a few minutes later the first entree was served to my daughter and I was left waiting. I waited another 5 to 10 minutes for my food to arrive. The first entree was simple chicken fried rice. Vegetarian and vegan friendly. Plenty options with fresh vegetables and tofu. Something we had trouble finding on a road trip through west Texas an New Mexico. Very nice ambient. Clean and cozy. Though we ordered close to closing time and did not dine in. Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious. We ordered red curry with a mix of tofu and vegetables. And a Mongolian stir fry with vegetable and tofu combination. Would recommend if you pass through Amarillo, TX.

A couple of days ago, I ate here with my fiancé. We had egg rolls to start and ordered Jalapeño Fried Rice and Yellow Chicken Curry (unfortunately my order was wrong because I ordered Beef instead of chicken but that won’t effect the rating since mistakes can be made). This is my second time eating food from Thai Taste. I can say they’re in a good spot on this side of town offering good food. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is good for a family setting. The food itself is really delicious. I had the yellow curry which was good but was enamored with my fiancés food. The Jalapeño fried rice had jalapeños (of course) with cilantro and well cooked rice. The taste of the rice balanced out the jalapeño and allowed the taste of cilantro to really top it off on the bite. If you go, I’d recomm
