That's My Dawg

Had some business in Moncks Corner today and stopped in for the first time. The menu is full of great options and apparently Monday is 50¢ bones less wings. I got a dawg and a few wings, mom got the steak Philly. We shared the fried pickles. The food was delicious, the service was great, the prices were more than reasonable and the experience was perfect. We WILL be back.

My CEO had the pleasure of visiting That’s My Dog, and he could not say enough good things about this restaurant. He said the food was absolutely excellent, full of flavor, and prepared with care. Every bite reflected pride and passion in what they do. The service was just as impressive. From the moment he walked in, he was treated with genuine Southern hospitality. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and personal. He said that it was refreshing to see a local restaurant that consistently delivers great food, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere all in one place. I don't know what happened but this place used to be a good place to grab some good food. Just waited 30 minutes for a burger and then asked for it to go because I couldn't continue waiting for it and basically just ended up leaving without food that I paid for. I even way over tipped expecting that my food would at least get to me before I left. Definitely not a place to hit if you have an hour for lunch

It's ok. They were definitely having an off night with a couple of new cooks in the kitchen, but the food took forever to come out, and was just not good in general. The fried pickles are spear-style, and were not good at all. Way too expensive for the tiny amount of pickles. The crinkle cut fries were soggy/mushy and completely unsalted. The wings were good and bad. The Spicy Peach sauce for the wings was great. Definitely recommend that one. The lemon pepper one, not so much. It was absurdly salty and had to be sent back. Our server was kind and friendly and she made it right by re-making the wings in a different sauce and also taking half off of the cost, which we appreciated. Hidden gem in Monck's Corner! Menu was very versatile. The service was great even though we had a large party (14+). The food was delicious, went there for lunch at work and went back for dinner. Location is great, plenty of parking and conveniently placed.
